CHILDREN^XUAF4(): List of Child Institutions for a Parent

Description

This API returns a list of all institutions that make up a given Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN), parent institution entered in the "parent" input parameter.

Format

  CHILDREN^XUAF4(array,parent)

Input Parameters

array:

(required) $NAME reference to store the list of institutions that make up the parent VISN institution for the "parent" input parameter.
parent:

(required) Parent (VISN) institution lookup value, any of the following:

  • " Internal Entry Number (IEN), will have the ` in front of it.

  • " Station Number

  • " Station Name

Output

returns:

Returns the array populated with the list of institutions that make up the parent VISN.

  Variable array ("c" ,ien)=station_name^station_number
