$$SIBLING^MXMLDOM(): XML—Get Sibling Node

Description

This extrinsic function retrieves the node of the specified node's immediate sibling, or zero (0) if there is none.

Format

  $$SIBLING^MXMLDOM(handle,node)

Input Parameters

handle:

(required) The value (integer) returned by the $$EN^MXMLDOMAPI, which created the in-memory document image.

node:

(required) The node (integer) in the document tree whose sibling is being retrieved.

Output

returns:

Returns:

  • Node—The node (integer) corresponding to the immediate sibling of the specified node.

  • Zero (0)—If there is no node (integer) corresponding to the immediate sibling of the specified node.
