GETPAR^XPAREDIT(): Select Parameter Definition File

Description

The GETPAR^XPAREDIT API allows the user to select the PARAMETER DEFINITION (#8989.51) file entry.

Format

  GETPAR^XPAREDIT(.variable)

Make sure to perform the following steps before calling this API:

  1. NEW all non-namespaced variables.

  2. Set all input variables.

  3. Call the API.

Input Parameters

.variable:

(required) The name of the variable where data is returned.

Output Variable

.OUTPUTVALU:

(Returns the value Y in standard VA FileMan DIC lookup format.
