Description

The $$ID^XUAF4 extrinsic function returns the identifier (ID) of an INSTITUTION (#4) file entry for a given coding system and Internal Entry Number (IEN).

Input Parameters

cdsys:

(required) CDSYS is an existing coding system of the INSTITUTION (#4) file. To see the existing coding system in the file:

ien:

(required) Internal Entry Number (IEN) of the institution in question.

returns:

Returns the INSTITUTION (#4) file identifier (ID) associated with the given coding system and IEN.
